Day of Song

Thursday 7th May 2015 - Perth Concert Hall

All Primary 5, 6 and 7 pupils have been fortunate enough to be invited to take part in a Day of Song – Songs for Time Travellers, arranged by the Expressive Arts team. Each school is representing a time period in history.  There will be opportunities for the pupils to learn harmonies and experience part singing on a grand scale.

Letham Primary School’s chosen time period is the 1980s.  Children should wear something that represents the 80s decade – double denim if possible!!

Pupils will walk, accompanied by staff leaving school at 9.00 prompt, therefore please be in school for registration at 8.50 a.m.  We will return to school a little later at around 3.15 p.m.

Children will need to bring a bottle of water and a packed lunch (these will be provided for pupils who receive free school meals). Fizzy drinks, yoghurt items or any foods that may stain are not allowed in the Concert Hall.

Unfortunately, due to public performance license regulations, it is not possible for parents to attend the event. There is no charge for this event.
