Drop Off & Collection of Children

Please remember the front car park is a staff and visitor car park and for disabled use only.  Nursery parents should park on Struan Road as this area is often used by primary children throughout the day.

All primary children should line up with their classes at 9am.  We ask that all parents and carers stand back behind the smiley faces once the bell has rung. This gives all children space to line out without feeling crowded by unknown adults. If you child is reluctant to join their line please keep them with you and school staff will support once the lines have been sent into school.

Primary 1 children may need a little extra support for their first few days and we are happy for one parent/carer to support them to enter school but again we would request that you stay towards the back of the line.

Miss Oliver, DHT and Mrs Forbes, HT greet the children and send the lines into school each morning. This is an important time for children and we appreciate parents and carers waiting until all of the children have entered the building before passing on messages.

When the bell rings at 3.05pm all children will be dismissed from the main school playground.  Please remind your child to return to school if they cannot find the adult who is supposed to be collecting them. Our P1-3 staff are usually on hand to ensure the younger children have 'seen their adult'.
