Scottish National Standardised Assessments

This term P7 pupils will be taking part in the  Scottish National Standardised Assessments. These are designed to be another tool to support teacher assessment of a level within the literacy and numeracy curriculum. Staff will work with  children from each class using ipads or laptops to support pupils when completing the activities. The assessments have been designed to ensure all pupils are able to access them and pupils with an identified additional support need will receive the same supports as they would in class. A Scottish Government Leaflet for Parents has been created: https://standardisedassessment.gov.scot/parents-and-carers/#heading-8779 which gives more background and information on this national assessment tool.
